Well tonight marked the conclusion of the Magnolia West Mustang Baseball team's home schedule as they took on the Willis Wildcats. #10 Scott Walton picked up the win in the Freshman contest as the bats got hot late and the Mustangs pulled away to win 11-4 in 7 innings. #7 Tyler Hessong performed well only giving up one HR on a solo shot in the 4th from the Wildcats #15 Tyler Pierce. Due to some timely hitting between the 4th through 6th innings, the Mustangs would pull away comfortably winning 7-1 in 7 innings. Hessong picked up the win in his final home appearance in the 2008 season. It was my pleasure as the "voice of the Mustangs" to be a part of the 2008 Mustang Baseball season!
