Once again, Doctor Who delivers with this season's 2nd episode "The Fires of Pompeii." Filmed at Cinecittà film studios, on the south-eastern outskirts of Rome "The Fires of Pompeii" took the Doctor and Donna back to AD 79 around the occasion of the eruption of Mount Vesuvius. What an amazing start to this season - I am so glad my family is able to share in the enjoyment of Doctor Who.
